Our Local Impact

Our education and outreach efforts have improved awareness in Pittsburgh and the Western Pennsylvania region about standard-of-care and experimental fertility preservation options available at the Fertility Preservation Program in Pittsburgh.  The number of fertility care options available and the number of patients treated have increased significantly since 2010.

Our National-International Impact

Ovarian tissue cryopreservation and testicular tissue cryopreservation are experimental fertility preservation procedures for patients who are not able to preserve eggs or sperm. Patients travel from around the globe to pursue experimental fertility preservation options available at the Fertility Preservation Program in Pittsburgh or one of our coordinating centers.
